Television Appearances

July 7th, 2007 was a big day for the wedding world. CBC Television interviewed Pam on camera for her insight into why this day was such an "in demand day" for weddings. News clip appeared on the news at 6:00pm and 11:00pm on July 5th, 2007.

Pam was thrilled to be selected as a wedding planner to provide professional services for an unscripted TV series called Exchanging Vows, which aired on A-Channel Fall/Winter of 2003-2004 and on the Life Network in the Spring of 2004. This was produced by Breakthrough Films of Toronto. She appeared in 3 out of the 12 episodes, produced across Canada, more than any other wedding planner on the series.

The premise of the show:
Bridal couples, who do not know each other, plan each other's wedding, with the help of a wedding planner. Couples plan 5 elements of the wedding and are awarded points based on correct choices. The elements are:

- bride's attire
- color of bride's attire
- groom's attire
- venue
- cake
- flowers

The winner of the challenge was awarded a honeymoon trip to a location of their choice in the Caribbean.

One bride worries that she'll end up with a southern belle dress and a 19th century-style wedding after she tells the couple planning her wedding that she's a big fan of Scarlett O'Hara. Meanwhile the other bride is surprised to find her wedding is taking place on a ski jump.

A wedding photographer who's seen it all and knows what kind of wedding she wants agrees to let strangers plan her wedding anyway. Her husband just wants to know if they'll put him in a kilt for his wedding.
